Having worked in the graphic design industry for 24 years,
around the office
Dan is know as the "Old Man." With these years behind
him, he has the
insight and experience to deliver the superior level of design
provided by
The Logo Workshop.
After received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication
Design from
Kutztown University, Dan began a 10-year run as Graphic Designer,
then Art
Director, for the Philadelphia T-Shirt Museum. There he created
art for the
screen print and embroidered apparel industry, including clients
in the
Philadelphia, PA area as well as the resort and college markets
across the country.
After leaving the T-Shirt Museum, he accepted the position
of Art Director
for the Stitches Catalog, now The Logo Workshop, and has served
that role for
the past five years. Dan excels at logo design, typography,
apparel graphics
and project workflow to exceed the expectations of our worldwide
client
base. During his years, he has had the opportunity to build,
and work with, a
highly creative design team, and has guided them through projects
that have
gained overwhelming praise from our clients.
On the personal side, Dan runs 10 to 15 miles per week and
listens to music
whenever possible. His recent playlist includes Death Cab
For Cutie, Interpol, The Killers, A Perfect Circle and The
Secret Machines. In addition, he always has an open ear for
Steely Dan, Dead Can Dance, The Cure, XTC, The Clash, Cream,
Bowie, Yes, The Who, Miles Davis, Radiohead and Coldplay (just
to name a few). Dan gains his creative inspiration from his
play list, other exceptional design, the world around him,
and his daughter Sonja.
